Vignettes: Concentrated Views of RAM’s Collection
February 1 – August 26, 2023
Racine Art Museum
Racine, WI
The Racine Art Museum (RAM) celebrates their 20th anniversary with Vignettes: Concentrated Views of RAM’s Collection. The exhibition features an array of works to highlight the diversity of artists, backgrounds, and mediums represented in the Museum’s permanent collection. Sub-themes connect the works as well as group selections made according to time period or donor focus.
Per the museum, “As a vignette is defined as a “brief, evocative description” of a larger entity, each group of this exhibition is a self-contained idea that gives a sense of RAM in a snapshot through curatorial eyes.”
Featured wood artists include WAA Member Wendy Maruyama, Wendell Castle, Tommy Simpson, and more. For more information visit the RAM website.
