Dear Friends, 

A member commented that the Wood Art Alliance is like their personal social media team. Since our relaunch in June we’ve been making great strides. Katie Thompson is doing a stellar job of showcasing our members and promoting wood events. She has developed a great format that is recognizable as well as easy to follow. We’re being seen on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and other places that matter. We’re finding interesting events to share with the public and I think we’re off to a great start. 

What’s missing is you and your input. For this to succeed we need members and input from them. We want to know what you are up to! We want to share your successes, shows and new pieces with the world. 

So here’s how you can help: Become a member, post your work on your portfolio page and tell us what’s happening. Once we have that we can share it with the world, but we can’t share things we don’t have. And while you’re at it, follow us on Instagram and Facebook, and encourage your followers to do the same. Like our posts, share our posts and help us grow! We’re growing by the day but we haven’t gone “viral” yet. Let’s be a team. You provide the content and we do the work sharing it. It’s a win/win but we can’t do it without you.
